The cards were launched by Galway Hospice Foundation Chairman, Keith Finnegan and are sponsored by O’Toole’s Supervalu, Tuam; Radharc Landscaping, Moycullen; Ultimate Office, Galway; Busker Brownes Bar & Kirby’s Restaurant and EJ Kings Bar & Restaurant.

Speaking at the launch, Keith Finnegan said that the Christmas Campaign especially the Christmas Cards are a major part of its annual fundraising efforts, and that they are very grateful to the Christmas Card sponsors who support the campaign each year which allows 100 per cent of the funds raised to directly support the work of the hospice.”

Galway Hospice Christmas Cards are sold in over 150 Galway city and county outlets each year. The Christmas Cards come in a box of 12 different designs which features some fabulous designs, ranging from the traditional to the more contemporary for just €7.00. In 2018, Galway Hospice have also produced two exclusive Christmas Baubles which will be available county-wide.

The income generated from the sale of the Galway Hospice Christmas Campaign makes a very significant contribution towards the €2 million required to provide Hospice Home Care and Day Care services to those patients and families throughout Galway city and county who need them.

Speaking about the Christmas Campaign, Mary Nash, Chief Executive, Galway Hospice said that with an increasing demand on the Hospice services throughout Galway City and County, the funds raised each year throughout our Christmas Campaign are vital.
