Two's a treat for Caprice Café

It has been another exciting 12 months for Caprice Café as it celebrates its second anniversary this July. Known for its delicious dishes and award winning organic coffee, the café has become a favourite for locals and visitors of the city not least for its Instagram perfect presentation.

"We are very pleased to be celebrating our second birthday here at Caprice," says owner Vicky Casey in the chic and relaxing surroundings of the Church Lane location. "Our second was about building on what we achieved in our first year and constantly improving our services. This year Galway is the European Region of Gastronomy so we have really focused on producing wonderful food. We source everything locally as much as possible because we believe in supporting Galway business and we want to serve the freshest, best quality, food."

To mark the occasion, Caprice will be hosting a special event in association with Willow Boutique to help raise funds for Rosabel's Rooms in the coming months.

"We decided to celebrate our second year by supporting a worthwhile cause in Rosabel's Rooms. Our place in the local community means a lot to us here and being able to share our birthday celebration with our customers while raising important funds for such a great cause is something of which we are very proud. We will be announcing a date for this special event with Willow Boutique and Rosabel's Rooms very soon."

Vicky contends Caprice's success is down to the efforts of her staff and the team's willingness to take on customer feedback.

"I am very lucky to have such a dedicated and skilled staff here at Caprice. They are very hard working and are always looking to give the best in customer service. We want to exceed people's expectations when they come in to us. We try to accommodate everyone's needs as much as possible.

"Over the two years of being in business, the team and myself have found one of the best ways of continuing to provide a high standard of service is by listening to customer feedback, be it on Tripadvisor or social media. This allows us to make improvements in our service, no matter how big or small, so when a customer walks in off the street, they are wowed until they leave."

Vicky and the team at Caprice thank customers for their support over the year and look forward to seeing them over the coming weeks and months.
