The á la carte menu has a choice of six starters including a fresh Galway Gin-cured salmon artistically presented with cucumber, tonic gel and an avocado and dill mayo and served with freshly baked soda bread. Other popular starters include the pan seared pigeon with sweetcorn, red onion, smoked bacon and a drizzle of Madeira jus, and the summery garden pea soup with quail egg, buttermilk, and prosciutto crisp.
For main courses, guests dining at Restaurant gigi’s have a whole host of mouth-watering dishes to choose from including the pan fried fillet of silver hake on a bed of mussels, clams, langoustine, gubbeen chorizo and a pepper and tomato escabeche, and the equally delicious soy-glazed fillet of monkfish with sticky pork belly, carrot, spring onion and teriyaki. Land lovers will delight in the rack of Irish Lamb served with braised neck, olives, aubergine, red pepper, goat’s cheese, and sherry jus or perhaps the lure of a perfectly cooked steak will be irresistible when you see the 10oz Hereford rib eye steak accompanied by charred tender stem broccoli, a porcini, and port butter.
