If it's Tuesday it must be the Comedy KARLnival

Karl Spain to MC another round of Tuesday night laughs at the Róisín Dubh

KARL SPAIN returns to the Róisín Dubh next week to MC another instalment of his popular Comedy KARLnival nights at the Dominick Street venue, hosting the very best in Irish comedic talent.

The KARLnival takes place this coming Tuesday at 8.45pm. “This really is the best club in the country at the minute, with great audiences," Karl told the Galway Advertiser. "Galway really is a cultured city, well deserving of the title City Of Culture”

Karl has enjoyed TV success with his appearance on Operation Transformation and his 2005 RTÉ TV series Karl Spain Wants A Woman. He has earned a reputation as one of the best MCs in the country, thanks to a razor sharp wit, sense of mischief, and also his laid back story telling style. He spends all the money he makes on Subutteo and comics.

This Tuesday's show will feature a short headline set from Danny O’Brien - winner of the 2013 Tedfest Toilet Duck Award, declared Dublin’s Funniest Comedian by Fm104, Danny O’Brien, and who has been called “a serious young talent in the making" by The Irish Examiner - ahead of his upcoming Galway International Arts Festival show. Also on the bill are Adam Burke, founder and resident host of Hardy Har Comedy Club and Bray Comedy Festival, and Corkonian Kevin O’Sullivan.

Tickets are €5 in advance from OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; Roisin Dubh; and www.roisindubh.net; or €7 at door.
