The Latin-Irish trad fusion kings are back!

BAILE AN SALSA, the great Galway-based international band, who fuse Latin American music and Irish folk and trad, will play a late show at Monroe's next weekend.

Baile An Salsa will play Monroe’s on Saturday 26 at 11pm. Led by vocalist Andres Martorell, the band recently released their second album, Ériu, produced by five time Grammy winner, Walter Flores. Their Salsa-Trad fusion sound, with vocals in English, Spanish and as Gaeilge, has seen them win the Folk Alliance Official Showcase Artist Selection, 2018 and 2017, and in 2015 they were Top 20 China World Music iTunes downloads; Song of the Week, Radio PIN Poland; and Artist of the Month, Radio El Espectador, Uruguay.

They have played the Kansas City Folk Fest, Kansas City Irish Fest, Galway Oyster Fest, Dublin's Temple Bar Trad Fest, Kilkee's Ché Do Bheatha Latin America Festival, Cork Gathering Festival, Galway Guinness Festival, and the Philadelphia Folk Fest.
