Home for Christmas? Find yourself a new career

Over the festive period, leading Irish recruitment firm Cregg Recruitment will be hosting a recruitment open day.

The event will take place in the Connacht Hotel, Dublin Road, Galway on Thursday, December 28 from 11am to 3pm.

“During the past 12 months, we have seen a significant increase in the number of Irish people abroad looking to move home. It is a very big decision and clients tell us it can be difficult to access information on career opportunities when they are abroad,” according to senior recruitment consultant at Cregg, Aisling Conroy.

“In a report by the Department of Foreign Affairs in June 2017, it was estimated that there are approximately 1.47 million Irish citizens resident outside the State. We aim to provide those home for Christmas the opportunity to meet with industry experts and get advice on career opportunities currently available, discuss how the skills they have gained abroad can be transferred to roles and sectors in this market and also explore some of the challenges they face moving home.”

For this event, Cregg Recruitment have partnered with LookWest.ie and Fenero. LookWest.ie provides information for individuals setting up a business, investing or looking to relocate to the west, and Fenero are one of Ireland’s leading providers in tax solutions for contractors.
