Members of Athlone Musical Society are gearing up for their 2017 production of hit musical, Legally Blonde.
Rehearsals are in full swing and the cast and crew are putting the finishing touches to this fun-filled show.
Based on the novel and the hit movie of the same name, the musical chronicles the journey of the famously perky Elle Woods, a fashion-savvy, UCLA sorority girl whose life turns upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend Warner Huntington III.
In an effort to prove to Warren that she is more than a dumb blonde sorority girl, she follows him to Harvard Law School in the hope of winning him back. She soon finds that not everyone warms to her delightfully pink personality. Can she stay true to herself and win the man of her dreams?
