If you have a personal, sporting, or career goal you would like to achieve in 2017, or would simply like to start the new year off on a positive note, a motivational talk coming up in January could be for you.
‘Make it Happen’ is a motivational and goal-setting talk, which will take place on Wednesday, January 25 in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel Athlone.
A top line-up of speakers has been recruited to help attendees to set and achieve their goals for the coming year. The speakers on the evening are health and wellbeing specialist and author, Alison Canavan; World Cycle Race champion and motivational speaker Breifne Earley; and clinical psychologist Dr Eddie Murphy, a familiar face from RTÉ’s Operation Transformation. A special guest speaker will also be announced at a later date.
The event is a fundraiser for Pieta House, with all proceeds from the night going towards the charity which supports those in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm.
It promises to be a very positive event, with plenty of advice and tips for how to make 2017 your best year yet.
As part of the event, local businesses are invited to set up a stand on the night to display their products or services. Any business that wishes to become a sponsor of the event is asked to email [email protected].
Tickets are €20 and are available now from www.eventbrite.ie
