Banana importer Fyffes has linked with Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, and other leading food retailers to give children in Westmeath and beyond a chance to show their creativity.

Until December, families purchasing ready-packed bags of Freddy Fyffes bananas are being invited to create and photograph a montage of illustrations showing the popular Freddy Fyffes character dressed to go exploring across a range of pursuits from scuba diving to space travel.

An initiative to promote healthy eating, the ‘Bring Freddy On An Adventure’ challenge gives entrants a chance to win a weekly family adventure trip in Ireland or a family holiday in Spain’s PortAventura resort.
