Award-winning fashion blogger to judge Best Dressed at Kilbeggan Races

With the largest race meet of the year taking place at Kilbeggan Racecourse tomorrow, Friday July 15, head judge at the event, sponsored by Wineport Lodge and Dundrum Town Centre has been announced as stylist and award-winning fashion blogger Nuala Gorham.

Nuala Gorham is the name behind the hugely popular fashion and travel blog Penny and Polaroids, which has won highly acclaimed blog awards including Ireland’s Best Fashion Blog 2013.

Nuala founded the site in late 2012 as a creative outlet for her love of fashion. Her personal style and lifestyle chronicles have garnered work with leading brands as well as features in publications including Vogue. Nuala has worked with some of the industry’s leading fashion houses including Shopbop, Daniel Wellington, River Island, Primark, Asos, Parfois, Missguided, Tommy Hilfiger, Boohoo, Urban Decay, and many more.

She has also received style acclaim from some of the world’s leading fashion publications such as Vogue.com, Grazia Magazine, Stylist Magazine, W Magazine, House of Fraser, Asos, Look Magazine, Stellar, and Xposé magazine. Nuala is also a fashion journalist who has written for the Irish Daily Star Chic Magazine, House of Fraser, Galway Advertiser, and OohLaLa Magazine.

Nuala is looking for an on-trend yet appropriate outfit that both emphasises and complements your body shape and showcases your own individual sense of style.

Dundrum Town Centre and Wineport Lodge will present the ‘Best Dressed’ winner with a prize worth in excess of €2,000 that includes a shopping spree at Dundrum Town Centre and a ‘Woman of Style’ weekend at Wineport Lodge including a two-night stay in the Champagne Suite with dinner, afternoon tea, and top-to-toe pampering.

The Midlands National Day is the feature race at Kilbeggan Races this Friday, with a prize fund of €50,000. The event kicks off at 4.30pm with the first race at 5.50pm. Finalists for the Best Dressed will enjoy a drinks reception at the Dundrum Town Centre/Wineport Lodge marquee before the winner is announced prior to The Midlands National going to post.

Ladies Day at Kilbeggan Races features a full evening of entertainment for all the family including live music, children’s entertainment, the glamour of the Best Dressed and of course the excitement of the racing.

Admission is €13 for adults, €10 for students and OAPs, and free for children under 16. There are discounts for groups, and a special family discount package, for two adults with children under 16, is available for €20.
