New Peugeot 208 at Ploughing Championships

Peugeot unveiled their new 208 and launched a Peugeot van scrappage scheme at this year’s National Ploughing Championships.

With 16 vehicles across the award-winning Peugeot range on display, Peugeot brand ambassador making appearances included Peugeot Sport rally ace Craig Breen, and Kilkenny hurling coach legend, Brian Cody.

The newly-launched Peugeot 208 took pride of place on the Peugeot stand, beside the big-selling Peugeot 2008 crossover and ultra-modern Peugeot 308 hatchback and SW ranges. Just arrived in Peugeot dealer forecourts this month, it has been finessed with a more assertive styling, fresh exterior colour choices including textured paint, and an exciting range of personalisation options.

The range also benefits from the latest petrol and diesel engines from Peugeot, including the newly crowned PureTech petrol International Engine of the Year 2015 category winner and a record-breaking BlueHDi diesel engine. Priced from €14,845 plus delivery charges and covered by a five-year extended warranty, a 3.9 per cent PCP low-cost finance offer can be arranged.

The impressive new 508 RXH 2.0 litre 180bhp automatic, new Partner van and the new 3008 Commercial were also on show.

And Peugeot launched a new van scrappage programme. Under the scrappage scheme, customers with vans dating pre-2007 are offered a minimum €3,000 scrappage off the newly launched Peugeot Partner van, a minimum €3,500 off the Expert van or a minimum €4,000 scrappage off the Peugeot Boxer.
