A comedy from start to finish

There’s a real treat in store for comedy lovers across the Midlands, when the Acorn Players stage The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley in the Dean Crowe Theatre on September 25 and 26 at 8pm.

This is an exceptionally funny play written by Jimmy Keary. Having performed it all over Ireland the Acorns have perfected the comedy. It gets funnier with each performance and is just the medicine you need now that evenings are drawing in.

The Acorn Players were formed some years ago in Mohill, Co Leitrim by Anella McGuinness and Padraig McLoughlin, and they did many productions locally until they hit on this Jimmy Keary play. It suited all the actors to perfection and the producers decided that all of Ireland should see it. So they went on tour and filled The Town Hall Theatre Galway, An Grianan Theatre in Letterkenny, and many more large halls and venues. All of the actors come from Leitrim with the exception of one cute Cavan man, and they are all really funny. Come along and really enjoy yourself.

This is a hilariously funny play not to be missed.
