Coppers Athlone - just got better!

One of Athlone’s popular nightspots Copper’s Late Bar and Club is getting a new look.

The family-run business powered by Eamonn and Eddie Brady has growing from strength to strength since it opened its doors in Custume Place in 2008.

The venue offers customers both the feeling of a late night bar with the fast pace of a nightclub at the back of the building.

Coppers is renowned for comfort, service, and value over the past five years. To celebrate this, Coppers has been revamped to make it even better than before.

Integrated into the new refit is a stylish comfortable front bar area, with low level furniture, lighting, and a superb smoking area, as well as new wall graphics.

The centrepiece in the bar is the new purpose built stage area for live music and performances which will kick off in the coming months.

The nightclub area is soundproofed to allow a faster pace of music, leaving the bar running its live music in parallel with the late night DJ. The bar has also introduced a new drinks and cocktail menu with a discerning taste for everyone!

“We feel that we need to offer both the experience of a late night bar with a live music offer, and a club environment both within the same building for all age groups, with no door charge, but allowing customers to move freely between both areas, something for everyone,” said owner Eddie Brady.

Check out new-look Coppers this Saturday March 2, with live music from The Smokes, and a champagne reception from 11pm.
