Brendan Grace presents an evening of nostalgia

One of Ireland’s favourite funny men, Brendan Grace, will be bringing his hilarious show to the Greville Arms, Mullingar and the Radisson, Athlone next year.

The greatest family comedian of his generation proudly presents an evening of nostalgia with a presentation of funny pieces that will have the audience rolling in the aisles with laughter.

Brendan’s latest show features a collection of Brendan’s best-loved pieces from over the decades. It’s almost a greatest hits style show that is sure to delight and thrill the many aficionados who love his mastery of a craft that he has perfected over the years. No surprise that critics frequently credit him with the title grand master of comedy.

All-time favourite sketches include Father of the Bride, Chinese Takeaway, Best of Bottler, Mother-in-law, Irish Astronauts, Dan Dooly’s Donkey, Fr Fintan Stack, and many more hilarious pieces.

A brilliant character actor, his sense of timing and ability to read an audience is without equal.

In more recent times Brendan has managed to attract a younger audience, mainly because the content of his show is suitable for all the family and also because of his hilarious appearance on Father Ted when he played a blinder in the role of the extraordinary Fr Fintan Stack.

Apart from his obvious star quality in all aspects of his performance, Brendan’s drawing power is enormous and the house full sign is the norm rather than the exception at his concerts.

The genial Dubliner has a very special bond with Irish audiences and is much loved by young and old not least because he gives very generously of his time after each concert.

The meet and greet is now very much part and parcel of each show, and Brendan’s very down-to-earth approach is much appreciated by all.

There’s no cynicism, vulgarity, or meanness in a Brendan Grace show. He maintains a gold bar standard that leaves others trailing in his slip stream. That is why that after all these years he is the undisputed king of comedy in Ireland.
