Feed mind, body, and spirit at The Dancing Soul

The Dancing Soul Wellness Centre in Pearse Street, Athlone has moved from strength to strength since it was opened last November by Julie Parmenter and Martina Breen. Julie works as a psychotherapist with a focus on the body/mind connection, while Martina facilitates creative development workshops and practices as a Gestalt psychotherapist.

The mission at the Dancing Soul is to promote wellness through services, products, and education. It brings together a wide range of psychological, complementary, and natural therapists, believing that good health is a combination of care for body, mind, and spirit. They source a range of quality, exclusive, and effective products including Kangen Water, ionizer/ diffusers, charcoal toothbrushes, Himalayan salts, and a wide range of wellbeing books and CDs.

The Dancing Soul also have a wide range of books for sale intended to help the reader make positive physical, emotional, and spiritual changes. For all ailments and diseases, both the alternative and conventional medical worlds have a lot to offer a person in information and self-help. They also offer a unique book rental scheme. Come in and browse the titles.

This September, they are offering a range of courses and workshops including The Artist’s Way, Introduction to the Enneagram, Reiki Circle, Tapping Solutions, Using Hypnotherapy for Stress Reduction, and an introduction to A Course in Miracles.

The premises in Pearse Street provides a tranquil and relaxing oasis of calm, offering the client easy access to counselling, hypnotherapy, bodywork treatments/ therapies, as well as advice and information on natural therapies.

The shop is open from 11am-5pm daily. Therapists are available Monday to Saturday 9am-9pm by appointment. There is ample and convenient parking at the front and rear of the building and they are within walking distance from the centre of Athlone.
