Multi-instrumentalist Drew De Four hits the Midlands this weekend

With over a 1,000 live performances to date, Drew De Four is a 6ft 7 inches Belgian-American, singer-songwriter, dueling pianist, actor, and multi-instrumentalist.

After graduating from the University of Michigan in May of 2006, Drew embarked on his first world tour playing 75 shows over five months in 30 different international cities including Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, Boulder, Seattle, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin - performing at night clubs, cafés, and piano bars.

Drew's music is a truly eclectic mix of all piano forms. Influenced by Tom Waits, Ray Charles, Van Morrison, Peter Gabriel, and the Afghan Whigs, Drew writes in a variety of styles and genres with a focus on rhythm and percussion. Lately, Drew's original sound draws on classical roots with a contemporary mix of rock, jazz, country, folk, soul, and R&B. For the most part, Drew enjoys playing, "whatever you want to hear" because he values the audience more than the music.
