DPD, whose hub base is in Athlone, Ireland recently presented their partner charity, with whom they have enjoyed a fruitful relationship since 1994, the Irish Wheelchair Association, with a cheque for €5,000. All proceeds were raised at the company's annual conference last month.

Acknowledging the cheque presentation, Ms. Maeve Dwyer, Head of Customer Service, Quality & Marketing said, "we have had a very successful collaboration with the Irish Wheelchair Association for over twenty four years. Many of their regional centres are located close to DPD depots so there are strong local links. They are a fantastic organisation and we are delighted to support them in any way we can." DPD Ireland were the recipients of the Irish Wheelchair Association Corporate Volunteer Award in 2017."
