Smith’s SuperValu Monksland finalist in Ireland’s Best of Fresh Awards 2018

Smith's SuperValu Monksland's in-store scratch bakery was selected as a finalist in Ireland's 'Best Bakery Offering' category of the Best in Fresh Awards 2018 at the recent Checkout Ireland Best in Fresh Awards 2018 held in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.

Acknowledging this recognition, Store Manager, Mr. Tim Dolan, enthused, "this award is open to retail bakeries all over Ireland and we are delighted to have been chosen as a finalist. The judges recognise excellence in the bakery category, including range, quality, value for money, scratch baking/in-house preparation, display and presentation.

"Our bakery offers a wide range of products made fresh from scratch every day, including breads, rolls, and speciality breads. We also produce fresh confectionery treats daily and make special occasion cakes to order. We would like to congratulate the bakery team on their achievement and also all the winners and finalists in the Best in Fresh Awards 2018."
