The 2 Johnnies reschedule their Athlone appearance

Tickets are now on sale for the ever popular comedy duo's ’Big Show, Small Show’ tour which has been rescheduled to Friday, August 3, at The Prince of Wales Hotel, Athlone.

The Tipperary two, who are famously known in the GAA world as Johnny B and Johnny Smacks have played countless gigs, released their own hit singles and launched their own website.

Internet sensations of stand up comedy, sketches and songs, the lads have had a hugely successful year in 2017 and again this year in which they have overseen an astronomical growth of their fan base on both Facebook and Snapchat.

They have just released ‘Summer Tune’ - the most Irish summer song ever! 'Summer Tune' name checks trips to Tramore, farmer tans and the holy grail of the weeks of freedom following the Leaving Certificate. Don't forget the obligatory 'grand stretch in the evening' salute, Wexford strawberries, a trip to Electric Picnic as well as a reference to Italia 90 and it seems the boys have cracked the code to the ultimate summer anthem. It has clocked up over 20,000 views online within two hours of going live, and over 77,000 people have so far watched it.

Tickets are on sale now from eventbrite (€20 - subject to service fee ). The event is strictly over 18s. Doors at 8pm.
